1. If there are any technical questions or questions about the contact, please ask the UNSW Exams Unit staff who will be supervising the exam. Information for contacting them is on the Moodle page of the course.

2. If you have questions or require clarifications about the exam questions you can join the following Zoom Meeting. You are not required to join the meeting: ZOOM LINK (Password: 883888). You can type your question in the chat. DO NOT TURN ON YOUR CAMERA OR MICROPHONE. NOTE: You may need to use your UNSW Zid/zpass to login to Zoom to access the above link.

3. The final exam for COMP3331/9331 will take place between 13:45 and 16:00, Monday, 6th December 2021 , Sydney time. It will be an online exam in the Inspera assessment system.

4. The exam arrangement applies to both COMP3331 and COMP9331 students.

5. This is an open book/notes exam. You are allowed to use calculators. We strongly recommend that you download all slides and homework sets to your local machine to ensure that the WebCMS server is not overloaded during the exam. It is recommended that you read UNSW's guide on open book exams .

6. The exam will run for a total of 2 hours with an additional 15 minutes of reading time . All questions must be answered. The marks for each question are noted. An online timer will keep track of your time from the moment you indicate the start of your test and automatically submit your test when the timer expires. You can submit manually before the time expires.

7. A practice exam will be made available soon and will close by 2 pm on 6th December. We strongly encourage you to attempt the exam to get acquainted with the Inspera exam platform and the type of questions that you may expect.

8. The exam will cover content as highlighted in the Final Exam Slides posted on the Final Exam Page . There will be no questions on programming or on the lab exercises.

9. If you have any questions, please use the Ed discussion forum.

10. You are encouraged to solve all types of questions, exercises, homework, etc. that are made available to you via the WebCMS portal.

11. Students who have sent us their Disability Support letter (ELS), will be directly contacted about the special arrangements of their exam.

12. Special Consideration and Supplementary Exam : Make sure you read carefully the updated special consideration rules regarding online exams available from the official UNSW site: https://student.unsw.edu.au/special-consideration

A supplementary exam can only be offered if you have a valid special consideration application (be aware of the Fit-to-Sit policy of UNSW).
